Create your own personal retreat space in a bowl during this creative and restorative hands-on workshop. This collaborative workshop by Walnut Plain Gardens and Apothecorner is a chance to ground yourself, get creative, and nurture your inner sanctuary.
We’ll begin with a gentle grounding meditation to help you arrive, settle, and set the tone for the evening. Then you’ll build a symbolic sanctuary inside a 6" glass bowl or hanging terrarium using moss, bark, stones, a low-maintenance plant, and thoughtfully chosen miniature accessories like benches, flowers, or tiny creatures. The terrarium decorations can represent aspects of yourself or energies you wish to welcome, such as peace, play, protection, transformation, or whatever resonates with you.
This workshop includes:
All supplies to build a custom terrarium
Your choice of a 6" glass bowl or hanging vessel (see photos)
A curated selection of natural materials, accessories & symbolic elements
Opening grounding meditation
Take-home care instructions
Light refreshments and snacks
